These are digital photographs treated with damaged transparencies to add grit and texture.
This type of treatment is something I have been experimenting with a lot. I am hoping to play some more with x-rays, stains, textures, fabrics, and what ever other fun things I can figure out what to do with.. I am scanning the transparencies and layering them on top of the digital image with Photoshop.
I also used this method to enhance my painting with light series, 'Light Alive', which I will post about next.
So here's to the man I love, being my perfect subject.
